Imprint states: "Richmond: Published annually by Peter Cottom, and for sale at his book store in Richmond, and by Richard Cottom, Petersburg." Colophon at end reports: "Printed by William Allegre, F Street, between 17th & 18th Streets near the old market, Richmond." Title represents third year of an affiliation between bookseller Cottom and printer Allegre in almanac publishing; this item is identical to Cottom's North Carolina and Virginia Almanack for 1820 (1819.055), with exception of text changes to title-page above the word "Almanack" and replacement of pages 34-35 in the North Carolina edition which reports court sessions there. Copy filmed by Early American Imprints Series lacks last leaf [p. 35-36].
