Bill was enacted on February 13, 1817, as An Act reducing into one the several acts and parts of acts, establishing the Quarter-Master-General, Adjutant General, and Accountant’s offices, and regulating the salaries thereof (Chap. XIX of the Acts of the November 1816 Assembly). No copy known extant; Thomas Ritchie, the public printer, was ordered on December 16, 1816, to print 250 copies of this bill for the use of the Assembly, so the attribution here to the partnership then conducting Ritchie's press.
