Notes
No copy known extant; both Drake and Shaw & Shoemaker report title from advertising in the Virginia Argus; those notices antedate Pleasants's death on October 4th, leading both to surmise a change in the title-page imprint – from the long-used "Printed and sold by Samuel Pleasants" to " Printed and sold at the Argus Office" – after the printer's death while still in the middle of the print run. Reported here in conformance with those assumptions.
