Colophon indicates that sheet was printed at the office of the Lynchburg Star, which was conducted by James Graham, so the attribution here. Only known copies, held in the state archives at the Library of Virginia, are all dated in manuscript "December 10, 1811," which was the day this petition was received by the House of Delegates; the multiple requests were referred to a committee that drafted a bill enacted by the Assembly on February 13, 1812 as "An act incorporating a Company to establish a Turnpike from Lynchburg to Lewisburg" (Chap. XL of Acts of December 1811 Assembly).
