Notes
Imprint states: "Alexandria: Printed by Cottom and Stewart, for themselves--J. Westcott--John Gray, Fredericksburg, and John Pumfrey, Richmond." Typographically identical to the Farmers' Almanack for the year of our Lord 1807 (1806.040) with the exception of the word "Virginia" substituted for "Farmers'" on title page. Clearly a joint venture printed for distribution in Alexandria, Fredericksburg, and Richmond; Gray was a partner in the Alexandria firm of Robert & John Gray which recently opened a branch store in Fredericksburg; Pumfrey conducted a major bookbindery in Richmond at this time.
