Notes
The December 1805 Assembly received a series of petitions from Lynchburg-area residents asking for the construction of additional tobacco inspection warehouses there; all of those petitions named sites owned by specific individuals; the House of Delegates received this request for a warehouse on the land of George Cabell on December 4, 1805, and promptly passed an act enabling Cabell to proceed on December 18th (Chap. VII of Acts of December 1805 Assembly). Item lacks colophon; given local interest, this item undoubtedly issued in Lynchburg; the only press working there after February 1805 was that of James Graham, so the attribution here.
