Notes
Three-part report on 1801 transactions for the January 1802 annual meeting of the society at Richmond; first part is financial statement signed "William F. Ast, principal agent. Richmond, Jan. 1, 1802"; the second is a report on the directors' decisions in 1801 signed "W. Foushee, president"; and the last the audit committee' report signed "Robert Mitchell. George Pickett. James Currie, and Robert Pollard." Imprint lacks printer credit; as with all of the society's printed records, the society's founder and principal agent, William Frederick Ast (d. 1807) employed an unnamed Richmond press to print this particular report.
