1794.042: Journal of the Senate of Virginia (November 1794).
Full Title: [Journal of the senate of the commonwealth of Virginia, begun and held at the capitol in the city of Richmond, on Tuesday the eleventh day of November, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-four].
Author: Virginia. General Assembly. Senate.
Place Issued: Richmond
Issuing Press: Augustine Davis
Description: Unrecorded (fol.).
Session met from November 11 to December 27, 1794. No copy known extant; existence and title supplied by payment to Davis for production. First solid indication that Davis produced the chamber journals before he printed the session laws, given the differing imprint dates for each from this session; he apparently continued a practice he had first employed during the Virginia Ratification Convention (June 1788) where he provided 200 copies of the preceding day's journal on every day that the session met, so allowing printing of the early parts of the compiled edition before the Assembly adjourned.
