1794.014: Summary of Church Discipline.
Full Title: A summary of church dicipline [sic] shewing the qualifications and duties of the officers and members of a Gospel church. By the Baptist Association, in Charleston, South-Carolina.
Author: Charleston [S.C.] Baptist Association.
Place Issued: Richmond
Issuing Press: John Dixon Jr.
Description: 30 pgs.; 20 cm. (12mo).
Part 2 of Universal Register of the Baptist Denomination (1794.011), with pages numbered separately from the other four parts. Asplund's 1794 Register was his most complex publishing effort; volume I consisted of 6 parts, detailing the history and current state of the Baptist church in America, issued in Boston by John W. Folsom (Evans 26585); Volume II (which contains this title) was a set of supporting theological documents which apparently were issued separately by Dixon, who then bound the five parts together with a common title page. Copy of that title filmed by Early American Imprints Series contains only the first part with that title page added; the American Antiquarian Society has two copies of this title, one unopened, the other with the most complete variant of the Universal Register. This Index records each element of the whole as separate imprints (1794.012 to 1794.016), as first two parts are listed individually by Evans and others, distinct from the complete set.
