Notes

Session met from October 1 to December 28, 1792, an inordinately long session that was largely concerned with the first post-Revolution revisal of Virginia law. No copy of this journal known to be extant; Swem recorded its existence from the standard practice of having it published by the Senate printer, then Thomas Nicolson, but he did not find either a manuscript or printed copy, nor a record of payment for its printing. Included herein as an imprint likely issued in small quantities because of disparate length and cost.
