Notes
First of three volumes from the stenographic record taken unofficially by David Robertson of Petersburg; evidently issued in sequence as type-setting process neared 13 sheets (208 pages) each; Hunter died between the publication of vols. 1 and 2 (Dec. 12, 1788); as a result, volume 2 (1789.018) and volume 3 (1789.019) bear the colophon of Prentis alone. The Early American Imprints Series filmed volume 1 twice; vols. 2 & 3 not filmed, although Evans number for those items (22225) was used as an identifier for the filmed duplication.
