Notes
Seven resolutions recommending process for convening a state convention to consider the ratification of the proposed federal constitution; a second edition was printed by Augustine Davis (1788.000), printer to that convention, in June 1788. Sheet lacks printer credit; erroneously attributed to the press of Dixon & Holt by Evans and Swem; that firm was appointed as the public printer in June 1786, but that post itself passed to John Dixon alone on the death of John Hunter Holt in June 1787; he printed 2000 copies.
