Notes
Duration of this Assembly is not known, as the manuscript journals are now lost; questions remains as to whether this journal was actually printed by Dunlap & Hayes as ordered. The 1827-28 reprint editions of Revolutionary-era legislative journals published in Richmond by Thomas W. White do not include those for this session. John Dunlap and James Hayes began work in Richmond in December 1781 as Virginia's public printers; they held the position until May 1786 with Hayes the sole resident proprietor.
