Known commonly as the Fourth Virginia Convention, this session met at Richmond only on December 1, 1775, then at Williamsburg from December 4, 1775 to January 20, 1776. Session was primarily concerned with contemporaneous military operations in Norfolk area that ended with the burning of the port on January 1st and Dunmore's withdrawal of troops.
