Notes

A newspaper-style imprint that reported the membership, officers, and proceedings of the Second Virginia Convention (March 20 to 27, 1775) in Richmond. In an endnote, Purdie indicated that the sheet was produced on Saturday April 1st, so preventing the distribution of his Virginia Gazette by the regular mail that week, and that he would now engage riders to effect that delivery. Purdie later produced a pamphlet edition of this title (1775.005). In this meeting, Purdie was appointed as printer for this and the ensuing conventions (July & December 1775, May 1776) considering resistance to crown and parliamentary authority.
