At a general assembly, begun and held at the capitol, in the city of Williamsburg-, the seventh day of November, anno domini one thousand seven hundred and sixty nine, in the tenth year of the reign of our sovereign lord George the third, by the grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, king, defender of the faitii, etc. and from thence continued by several prorogations, and convened by proclamation, the eleventh day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy-one, being the second session of this present general assembly.
