Notes

With the issue of Monday August 2, 1802, Westcott reorganized his newspaper office, reducing the frequency of publication from daily to thrice-weekly, as well as altering the title of his paper to reflect a broader geographical reach than simply Alexandria. With the issue of Monday November 22, 1802, Westcott issued his last number of this paper and sold his business to the partnership of James Lyon & Richard Dinmore, who resumed publishing the tri-weekly on Friday November 26, 1802 as the Alexandria Expositor.
