Title represents second year of an affiliation between bookseller Cottom and printer Allegre in almanac publishing; this item is identical to Cottom's North Carolina and Virginia Almanack for 1819 (1818.049), with exception of text changes to title-page above the words "Virginia Almanack" and the replacement of pages 32-33 in the North Carolina edition which reports court sessions there. Imprint in both states: "Richmond: Published annually by Peter Cottom, and for sale at his bookstores in Richmond and Lynchburg," with a colophon appearing on the last page {p. 36[ recording "Printed by William Allegre."
