Notes
The first almanac issued by Cottom in his long-time partnership with Richardson; this item is identical to Cottom’s New Virginia & North Carolina Almanack for 1816 (1815.032) with the exception of the title-page text immediately before the ornamental word "Almanack" there. Colophon on last page reports: "Printed for the publisher by A. G. Booker & Co." Booker had been a journeyman in the office of Samuel Pleasants, and had acquired his new office from the estate of his former master in partnership with DuVal, hence the attributions here.
