Notes

Petition resulted in amending law regulating navigation on the river and the appointment of commissioners to examine problems with navigation on the upper part of the river. Sheet lacks colophon; House received this petitions on December 10, 1810, but the counties mention herein indicate the petition could easily have issued in Lynchburg, Petersburg, or Richmond, so the indeterminacy here.
