No copy known extant; multiple petitions from "Loudoun, Fauquier, and Frederick" counties received by the House on December 7, 1809; identical language indicates coordinated effort with a common printed form; petition sought new turnpike from western end of Little River Turnpike near Winchester to Ashby's Gap on the Blue Ridge (in modern-day Clarke County), so connecting Loudoun and Fauquier to Frederick, Leesburg to Winchester. Petition resulted in legislation creating a company to build such a turnpike (see Chap. LXXXVIII of the Acts of the December 1809 Assembly, enacted January 10, 1810).
