Text on recto side contains a list of the officers of the Grand Lodge, a report of suspensions and expulsions from various lodges in Virginia and neighboring states, and a list of names of imposters forwarded to the Grand Lodge of Virginia; on verso, a table of the lodges "under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Virginia, Comprehending the number, place where held, stated meeting & present Masters name. A.L. 5803" – 68 in total. Copy filmed by the Early American Imprints Series has manuscript completions of blanks that address letter to the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. Sheet lacks colophon; brother John Dixon Jr. was printer for the Grand Lodge of Virginia at this time, so the attribution here.
