Notes
Case concerned debt claims of one decedent's estate against the estate of another decedent (proved in 1787) argued before the Supreme Court of Appeals in May 1794. One of a series of law reports published by Wythe in a form designed to be bound in volumes of collected decisions, so avoiding the expense of larger works, such as his earlier volume of High Court of Chancery decisions (1795.014); this imprint was one that included a title page, unlike others which leaves determinations of authorial and printer credits to external sources; Evans attributed those unidentified titles to George Wythe and Thomas Nicolson, based on their ongoing association, and other authorities followed suit – as does this Index.
