Author: Page, John (1744-1808).

Place Issued: Virginia

Issuing Press: Uncertain

Description: 1 sheet [1 pg.]; 34 cm. x 21 cm. (broadside).

Notes

A circular letter to his constituents reporting the on the current session of Congress and his offer to accept another term as their congressional representative. Manuscript additions to the text include a date of May 12, 1794 and a signature by Page. Sheet lacks printer credit; a dateline of Philadelphia brings into question whether this title is a Virginia imprint; but Page engaged presses in Norfolk and Richmond during his political career, so making it probable that he simply sent a letter from Congress to one such Virginia publisher for publication. Apparently, the only known copy is held by the Library of Virginia.
