Broadside notice detailing the requirements imposed by the "An Act repealing, after the last day of June next, the duties heretofore laid upon Distilled Spirits imported from abroad, and laying others in their stead; and also upon Spirits distilled within the United States and for appropriating the same,” enacted by Congress on March 2, 1791; text also contains example for the form needed to report the amounts of distilled spirits to be taxed. Enforcement of this revenue law led to the Whiskey Rebellion of the summer of 1794.
