No known copy exists; Swem listed title based on an order to print the act separately from the session laws, but saw no copy himself. Law is reprinted as Chap. XIV of the Acts of May 1784 in Hening's Statutes (XI: 376). Attributed here to the press of the incumbent public printers, John Dunlap and James Hayes; they began work in Richmond in December 1781 and held the position until May 1786 with Hayes serving as the sole resident proprietor.
